Having build two campervans and traveled through Europe for two years, I know the essential of a well tough out and safe electrical installation.
Via this platform I want help you build, and to simplify the world of Off Grid Electrics, via blogs, video’s and tools.
In 2021 we’ve started our dutch blog (www.camper-elektra.com) to start writing about the electrical systems in campers. In the following years we started with creating helpful tools such as our battery capacity calculator. Followed by our first program to design wiring diagrams. People seemed to like this program so we’ve doubled down on it and starting to plan something more professional, which ended up being our new software!
My name is Gijs and together with my wife Lotte and small team we work on making Off Grid Electrics simple and accessible. Originally a mechanical engineer, now full time software developer, YouTuber, blogger and customer care support.
